Yesterday I was at the Baby & Toddler Fair, at the MK Dons.

I was exhibiting my work and, for the first time since moving to MK, meeting local mums and dads!

In order to thank those who stopped by for a chat and to enquire about my work, I took email addresses and have now made a draw for three lucky winners whom will receive each a £50.00 voucher towards a photo session and prints.Winners will be announced once they have had a chance to reply to my email.

I was also very happy to meet some of the suppliers present, and to have a good chat with Rebecca & Paolo whom were selling the most amazing ice cream! Their details wll be posted on my recommended suppliers list very soon! Check them out!

Last but not least, than you to Les and his team for inviting me to exhibit at the fair. They did put on a great show, and very well organised indeed!

Today I was at Towcester Registry Office to photograph the wedding of Laura & Phil.

I first met Laura whilst photographing a wedding a few years ago, where she was the make-up artist!

Laura then recommended me to her sister and I was her wedding photographer.

Now Laura & Phil have tied the knot and I was privileged to be there, also.

So, Congratulations to Laura & Phil! It was a pleasure being part of your day.

Last year I ran a competiton to give away a wedding to a deserving couple.

This year, I am running a competition to give someone a chance to win a Photo Session with a Keepsake Album!

The main criteria is that the winner be someone whom *deserves* to win this prize!

What do I mean by *deserve*?

Maybe someone whom has been through a difficult time and now deserves some pampering.

Maybe someone whom has gone out of their way to help others, and you would like to nominate for a treat.

Maybe a local charity needing to raise their profile or raise money and requires the services of a professional photographer.

The criteria is fairly broad! I am not looking to do one particular type of session. Familes, children, maternity, intimates... As long as it falls under the wide umbrella of Portraiture, you are in with a chance!

The competition is open to anyone whom wishes to nominate themselves, a friend, a co-worker, a charity, a family member, etc... I am sure you get the idea!

1) The winner will receive an un-timed photo session and a 7x5 keepsake album with images of their choice from the session;

2) Should the winner be a group of people (from a charity, for example), a large print will be given to the charity with release of the image to be used for promotional purposes;

3) The photo session will be conducted in Milton Keynes, at a venue, date and time to be agreed between Andrea de Gabriel and the competition winner;

4) The images from the photo session will be Blogged and used by Andrea de Gabriel on her website, should she deem it apropriate;

5) The decision on the winner is made by Andrea de Gabriel and is final;

6) There is no cash alternative to the prize.

7) The winner will receive full Terms and Conditions once they are advised they have won, but the above gives you a good idea of what to expect.

Yes, folks... Now you can see even more images from the session! You can even see what the weather was like outside my door, no more than 5 minutes before they arrived. It did not look good, but we did very well, under the circumstances...

Today I was at Willen Lake in Milton Keynes with Chevonne & Kevin, whose wedding I will be photographing next May.

The weather was very much hit-and-miss, and even after enduring showers and, later, sitting perilously close to an ant's nest (honestly!), Chevonne & Kevin remained totally commited to the task in hand!

They were later rewarded with a hot cup of coffee and tea, back at my place! Richly deserved!
